Hola, I am Mercedes

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Lamar. I have a beautiful little boy and an amazing husband who are my everything. I do have a full time job and spend all my extra time with my family. I always had a camera in my hands growing up, although my family finds this quite annoying. . I loved taking pictures. My first memory is finding a disposable camera my mom had not developed yet that had shots left. I remember going outside and taking close up pictures of the flowers my mom had. They now love it. In June 2022 I lost my Grandmother, she was a vital person in my life. After we lost her my family was so grateful for all the pictures I had of the random special moments. If I am being honest I never envisioned photography as a career path for me, I am not sure why because I have always loved it. I love capturing those special moments that we will want to relive at another time. After having my son, I couldn't put the camera down. The freedom and creativity photography allows is so magical. I get so much joy out of capturing the moments, any moment. I have so much fun creating and shooting.
